In order to go forward, I am looking back at what is here, the smaller stuff, and considering them in a Frame of Mind

I wake up. I pee. I feed Soul-o. He pees. The power goes back on. I look outside, about 2″ and snowing. A lot. I make oatmeal and tea. I notice the tiny solar lights I placed in the clay lantern is still glowing and there was no sunshine yesterday. The sun comes up even though I cannot see it. I eat the oatmeal. I don’t feel like tea, so I save it for later and make coffee for a […]

As imagined, back here, making that small cabin bigger in some different way… There were, already, 5 scraps “cabined” together. That left 4. OK. Perfect. A frame, cabin style. I have seen here twice since I moved here. You […]

Some deer were moving through last night at dusk. I did not get a good picture. But actually this is the way it seemed. I found some old Floating Moon block. I pinned it to a cloth, now on a wall I call the Sanity Wall. All the pieces I consider part of the Sanity Series. A whole wall along the hallway on the way to bed. I am sleeping better. I wander slowly through my quiet , mostly wordless […]

Yesterday’s Heart was so Sure a piece in the ever growing Sanity series that suddenly came together just yesterday. I went back to find a loose note to self I remember so clearly. But I can never find exactly where it is kept. So I wrote it down again. Because I am right here, today, chasing it in a new way and also trying to redefine how heart is slowly becoming a personal symbol apart from the mainstream sugar. And […]
