Good Morning… The craziness here has not diminished. Some new roof issues have prolonged the process. And increased the cost. But hey, whatever gets done here will last a lifetime, especially ours, at this point. My Impression of May is just as it can be. I do feel it is a Mothering on many levels. It is comforting me. Demanding nothing in return. Instilling a sense of going that feels natural. It is helping me understand order without feeling limited, […]
New Visitors. I am so attuned to the window scene with the feeder, the comings and goings. Out of the corner of my eye. And then in just a second, my attention is drawn to any change. First there was the flutter, the quick dart of the first humming bird of the season, They are so quick, like insects. Couldn’t get a picture if I tried. But then, what’s this? Wow! I yelled and the man came running. I […]
May or an Impression of May… in early morning light. Over a cloth called Heal. How one just fits to the other. How one thing becomes another through pairing. Pairings. Each giving something to New Form. I know it is spring, I have my first poison ivy. And today I consider more seriously leaving the metaverse, a big step to somewhere else. It is warm and sunny and I am going outside to plant more morning glories. Maybe build a […]

Hello! The critter guard is up. Was a lot of work but work is good for you. And the daffys, all that I planted scattered through woods, they came up and the the deer don’t like them. Each year I will broaden the circle. Plant them along the paths. This starry moss is everywhere. There is no new clothwork here today, but I have picked the cloth I call Grow, to be the large cloth to continue with for this […]
Today I was going to publish April’s Newsletter. But I don’t have enough to say. It’s Spring and that is news enough. I have removed all pinnings and things from the Deep Pool of Thought. Time for a reset.
This is what we did today. All day. 62 degrees! Feeling the warmth. Doing nothing but that. Not even one stitch. Just the day was enough. It was enough. And then, just to feel useful… I just pinned a few loose patches to large piece of muslin I have on the wall, it’s a loose patch catcher at the moment as I am sorting through, gathering a few that have stories to tell.
