I wake up. I pee. I feed Soul-o. He pees. The power goes back on. I look outside, about 2″ and snowing. A lot. I make oatmeal and tea. Well here it comes again. Snow, tomorrow. And then, again next week. It is warm enough to be outside midday, walking, but then always below freezing at night. A thought caught yesterday… Sort of combines center with foundation. As one piece. Thinking of tearing some thin cloth into squares, then playing what if in the centers, then foundation piecing around them. I’ll try. One at least. I will work with colorlessness. A Sanity cabin maybe. Holding old questions in some useful way.

It cannot last long , this tiny spring. After all it IS still February. February is a season in itself. A season of seasons. I enjoy the swing. I stitched another little cabin just so I could talk about a few more things. But no talking today, just walking before the rain comes.
