The way it goes

July 15, 2022 by jude

This is Chip. Dale is off scouting for the last of the chickpeas. I suppose today, I will make the sign.  Welcome to the Chipmunk Garden. Settle into how it will be here. Here are 9 Magnolia petals, at various stages of change. The blossoms were short lived but I remember them clearly. With joy.

Time seems to be slipping past me… losing track really, maybe that’s a good sign. I stopped marking my calendar, I take my chances at remembering. Food is forming.  Not sure what kind of tomatoes these are, forgot.  Sure are pretty though. Malibar got tall. Er. It’s 5 AM, posting early because I have not slept yet. Goodnight day. Hope the world has not exploded by the time I wake up.

Yeah, so

July 9, 2022 by jude

Yesterday we got boosted.  I feel like crap. Is it the weekend already? Everyone I speak to is either sad or mad. The deer missed one.  Or, then,  I thought, they left me one.  And that made me glad.  Glad feels good.  A relief. I took this picture because it seemed a nice way to capture the idea of community.   All at different stages of whatever it will be, but still together somehow  on the path to how it will […]

After a time

June 27, 2022 by jude

I simply had to laugh.  All the trimming we have done here and already the sumac has grown back in the field of ferns.  Throwing shade on the garden.  And tree guy says… everything grows back, there is no stopping that.  Keep an eye on it, let it be, or get a chain saw , or  pay me, I don’t mind. Growing here has taken off.  In all directions. I can actually catch it in motion. But I have no […]

The learning seems magnified lately.  I feel like I didn’t know anything, does that happen  to you?  Suddenly nothing applies. The grow cloth gathers new meaning.  I am happy to have it.  To hold and consider. Recorded on Solstice… The Grow Diaries will be part of the Forever Zone soon,  as I try to refocus my efforts on detail.  Please note, The Forever Zone has been taken off sale in the shop.  I am changing my mind about how […]

June moments

June 18, 2022 by jude

Three moments, like  one.  One moment like three  I considered working on this image, merging them. Collaged here from 3 photos, but almost as if one long stretched moment.  I took the borders out as just a gesture of having one thing become another. Gosh each new moment, at this point in my life, is measured so differently now, each one is huge, holding all the moments that have gone before.  How strange measuring can be.  Evolutionary. He, Soul-o,  was […]

Another week

June 17, 2022 by jude

The squirrels are a force here. When the sun shines, make hay. Yarrow? Being back with paper has enhanced my sense of acceptance.
