Checking in…

Thank you, to all you ragmates  who have reached out in terms of my sudden absence.  I thought I would post a note. Life has a way of presenting the unexpected.  I will be back with more story when I am able. Things are on hold right now.

a May sunrise

It's finally spring here in the mountains.

Worth the wait.

Just a sketch between moments. I'll call it Being a Lifeboat.

Like so many others, I would regularly check to see if you were back. So glad to see your message. I hope all is well!

this morning while walking to the po, i came across a cottontail sitting in a yard and proceeding to eat a dandelion stem. so cute chomping and pulling it in as it sat there and we looked at each other. when the flower came to it’s mouth, it spit it out.

my first thought was “jude would like this.”

Peace and blessing to you Jude. I sat here and enjoyed your foggy spring morning with gorgeous tulips blooming. My favorite time of day when the birds are first ones up and start singing a joyous tune for me and I am sure for you… take care and hope all will be well for you.

Happy to see you in my inbox this am. I hope you get some “spring” in your step and all is well.

Hi Jude, I too had begun to wonder but didn’t want to hassle, just giving you space as needed. I’ve been getting space myself and tending to my emotional support cat, as I refer to my 16 yr old Nikko who is showing signs of ‘something’. Hoping it’ll pass along with whatever you’re managing right now. Take your time dear Jude.

I’m happy Spring is getting to you up there. May the road through the unexpected be smooth. I think we all get to become experts at getting through whatever gets tossed our way.

Sailing along, with love, beside you, in the known and unknown waters of life. May the lifeboat rock gently through this time,

Life is not as predictable as we often think it is . . . (old(er) age doesn’t change that) but good to hear you !
The life boat reminds me of the little cloth Hazel sent me years ago . . . I hope you are well (again) <3

Just today I mentioned you at my weavers guild meeting (we all do a lot more than just weaving), and I called you The High Queen of Everything. Even the Queen of Slow Stitch speaks of you with reverence, as do all the other stitching ladies I follow on YouTube. I await your divulgence of the unexpected.
