After a time

June 27, 2022 by jude

I simply had to laugh.  All the trimming we have done here and already the sumac has grown back in the field of ferns.  Throwing shade on the garden.  And tree guy says… everything grows back, there is no stopping that.  Keep an eye on it, let it be, or get a chain saw , or  pay me, I don’t mind. Growing here has taken off.  In all directions. I can actually catch it in motion. But I have no […]

Coming Around

August 12, 2021 by jude

Humid, way hot,  yet turning.  The light begins to seep through the tired foliage.  We are opening to autumn. I am back to the circle that I drew on Grow,  tracing the edge of the round glass table it sits on.  Maybe it just defined my current reach.  Now red, like a ring of fire.

To become

June 13, 2021 by jude

To become what?   What if we just let go? To envision is not really an end. But a way. To keep moving. While I move through this one,  with a bit of Liquid Applique,  Freedom is resting on Heal. Again, it seems to belong there.  I drew some lines. While remembering many Small Journeys that brought me here.

Needs

June 8, 2021 by jude

Seeds.  That what I needs. Even if they are weeds. Dot by dot. And it’s really too hot.  For anything else.

G

June 7, 2021 by jude

G. G is for green and yes there is more and more Green. And G is for Gross, the humidity and heat that is.  But G is also, suddenly, for Goodness Gracious, Love in the Mist comes in colors! Grow is on the table.  I am not measuring, just eyeballing, and now drawing a circle. The circle is drawn.  measure G is for the page I made for Grow that needs attention. And G is for the Glossary I added […]
