A question. There was a question… And now a response: I was going to make a video but now they are predicting 4-12″ of snow and very high wind and I need to get to the post office and the market and I am sure everyone else has the same idea… so maybe later. Every bit of this one is important for me.

One day, moment, into the next. A new Dot (a basket might be a dot that can hold more dots). An older technique, this is a form of Sketch Applique. But everything can be new again. There is always more to say. To do. repeating Please note that more older content is being added to the glossary. Including media. If you are using a touch screen, touching outside the box will close it. If you are using a mouse, moving […]

Sometimes a big ol’ patch is just the thing. (Continued from here, in case you weren’t here yesterday…) I think Dee sent me this cloth, but my memory cannot be depended on these days. Patching is applique really. I left the top edge ragged, that makes this cloth a cobblecloth. As if it wasn’t already? I tend to use single thread for quilting these days. I was more likely to use 2 way back when. Interesting to see the play […]

A quilt on the wall is one thing, but up close you are in it somehow. And that is what it is for. How joyously soft this seems to me now, like once upon a time when nine was not even a memory. A field of loose puzzle pieces. Once upon a time when there […]

sunshine Letting the line show, Sketch Applique, is not new for me, just being reconsidered as a transitional element. This is yesterday’s post but I never made it ,so, Good Morning!

To become what? What if we just let go? To envision is not really an end. But a way. To keep moving. While I move through this one, with a bit of Liquid Applique, Freedom is resting on Heal. Again, it seems to belong there. I drew some lines. While remembering many Small Journeys that brought me here.

Yesterday’s Moon has become a Memory The old blog let’s call it “Yesterday’s Blog”, is still protected. It is a big part of the story… I am working on restoring access. The best I can. Let it become New. What if that’s it? What we have to work with. And what it all becomes. If we keep going. Scraps of thoughts caught. Story. How with each passing moment we are patching a memory. Mending our backward vision the best we […]
