where the magic is today

February 13, 2023 by jude

This is an old  joodle.  On half an envelope.  You know, scrap paper everywhere.   No need to buy paper, ever. There are loose thoughts floating around. This became a listening self.  Without a lot of saying.  Because that is where I am at.  Listening to you, Listening to me.  Listening to… what speaks. A little Skitch Skatch story. I have opened  the private page connected to Skitch Skatch in the glossary.  Over time passwords will go away.  Let’s breath. There […]

The silence

October 7, 2022 by jude

Yesterday , I met her again. An old wordless self that could sit for hours with paper and just go.  The before blogging self that drew almost every day, just for my Self. the one that could make any moment a picture.

Yesterday, today…

May 30, 2021 by jude

There were thoughts not caught. But there was paper. The day began with paper.  Not just any paper.  A loose sheet of paper. Loose Leaf  paper.   A Loose Page with nothing on it.  But wait.  Squares.  This is a good start I thought. Yes. There was also a lapse in Memory.  I left the stove on after making coffee for a long time. I do this a lot.  I suppose when thoughts are too loose they might be useless.  Anyway. after […]

Time. Again.

March 18, 2021 by jude

This cloth. Well some of you remember.  I made this one for Glennis to use as a display at  Quilt Festival  years ago.  And then someone wanted to purchase it and I needed to do a little work on it first and then that person disappeared and it got folded up for a while and well Time flies. ( you can view a little video of it flying over at Instagram if you follow me there …) Glennis dyed most […]

The days are Longer

March 13, 2021 by jude

Yesterday was the 2nd out of 3 glorious days expected here.  Before more snow moves in next week.  Today we will complete the 3rd of the round wood piles.  And haul some rocks to frame a path.  I found this cedar branch hanging from recent wind damage. Can you smell it? There is a  lot of cedar here. Cloth hanging from cedar sticks might be swell. No stitching to show.  Well, I did add fringe  and I did jot a […]
