He is really patient lately, wakes up early and just waits. It’s May, and yet, cold enough for a fire, so I built one. But here is a lawn update. My neighbor told me to be careful, these weeds will take over. He gave me a puzzled look when I said I was excited. A little stitch. Not to much, just to make note of what was running walking through my mind. One at a time then, walking stitch.

Just a Reminder

And celery said, “You thought I was finished.” And the cloth said… It’s almost May and May is porch month, it will all be ripped up for a while. Probably this weekend we will clean everything away. Soul-o will be in a trauma for a while. He is scared of all other people. I can relate, somewhat.

Leaning into the Day

I like this double form. The double wishing star. I am thinking it might work for many things, a compound nested symbol. Something framed by itself. It gives the form a kind of depth. Perspective. Personal symbols are a picture language and life is complicated.

Turning Point

Soul-o. I think we have made the transition. He is now the cat he was back on the Island. Cautious but outside. The difference is that we don’t let him out after dark. And where as he used to run away outside when he was scared, now he runs inside. He has adjusted to the schedule and seems happy with his return to freedom. And his new sense of home.
