Good Morning It seems such a privilege, in these days… to be sitting here, just sitting here, stitching. Not in terms of what’s happening here, but what is happening everywhere. I got so lost in complaining about such stupid things. Yesterday, I was working on the Mothering Cloth. Today it is my mother. As I remember how she used to say, “Don’t worry, something will come of it.” Something. Can be anything. Some new loose thoughts on framing this morning. What […]

Continued from here… I added two loose dyed patches, parts of them. Because they were left over and it seemed they might express that time was passing and Earth Home is on fire. And below, what a Japanese beetle left me this morning.

Yesterday was humid. We are climbing again toward record heat. I had some stomach bug and it wasn’t pretty. The nasturtiums are ok. They will grow here. And look at that soil, compost. Yay. It was just a stray emotion. Destined to be a loose stitched patch. But I kept going. Something like how we see things, how that might change. Over time. Half faced. An eclipse of self I was thinking. Then how much the moon can teach us. About the temporary. And the constancy. Of appearing and disappearing. How to work with that. Use it actually, to get a sense of how it is, was, might be. Might always be. So it’s magic. To me, how things appear and disappear. Not as in trickery or illusion, but as a real part of going. Like night into day and back again. […]

Yesterday’s Moon has become a Memory The old blog let’s call it “Yesterday’s Blog”, is still protected. It is a big part of the story… I am working on restoring access. The best I can. Let it become New. What if that’s it? What we have to work with. And what it all becomes. If we keep going. Scraps of thoughts caught. Story. How with each passing moment we are patching a memory. Mending our backward vision the best we […]

Sometimes it’s the shitty photos that can inspire me. Anyway, I’ve just been hangin’. Stewing. Being pissed off. Big Spring moons bring out the bitch in me. Left, where I left off, right a digital sketch. But then I reduced the size of the eye thing which I really like because it is built from nine. The Eye of Nine could be a new symbol. Another shitty photo. Seems my own confusion is bleeding through these days. Deb’s (resource page) […]
