Time Flies

The Magic Cloth in time

I love how the Large cloths here endure the test of time.  They wear and tear, and most of all, wait patiently for attention.

One day they will travel.

And me too.

I dream of getting back to Large Cloth after I move.

The Magic Cloth is still  on the bed in the guest room here.  I have so much to add to it in my mind.  It is a Spirit Cloth as I first imagined such a thing.

I am quite distracted at the moment, trying to squeeze in a few things here and there.  I managed to add the Magic Diaries to the Forever Zone list of old classes.  I did it quickly,  if you run into any glitches just let me know.

Still working small at the moment with what I can carry in my pocket and a few minutes here and there.

some old moonshine memory

I already called it Some Old Moonshine Memory.   And now today , Time Flies.  Thinking about memory and fragmentation and scraps of self and how there is always a little bit left in us,  from that which has happened. Stitching over one of the beautiful moons from Glennis. A little Deb Thread from the nest.

Thank you for this. A little before my time as a traveling companion but so much has been built upon these earliest days that it feels like home.

I am a patchwork of scraps, depending on how my brain twirls. Today my older son became forty four. Still a work in progress – same here!
Your deep blues and circles are beautiful.

Love your idea . It looks great and beautiful. Yes we lost in our lives, but it is the memoroes we gether with others and lives in histories and stories in us all

  4. Distraction seems to be my word this summer… Humidity drains my brain, I think. Today, for sure.
I always appreciate your words, they seed things in me to ponder. 🧡

Deceptively simple, like a stitch or two, a few thoughts….and with time and going…like life, a beautiful tapestry.
Now I’ll be humming Carol King’s “Tapestry” all day
    You’re beautiful, Jude! 😘😘😘

  6. Ah, the Magic Cloth…sigh…to see the beast again. I love your beasts, sewn or painted or drawn. They always speak to me, more than cat selves (I guess I’m not as much a cat lady as a beast?! lol).
And that small piece…I’ve always loved the never ending bird fabric and wished I could feel it. The raggedness of this one, but also with a firm dyed line is so appealing…how we can be both at the same time – firm, but ragged. That is me right now.
    Big love to you.
