Heart

It's crazy warm here with some wild thunderstorms expected which I look forward to because it is awfully dry here.

I don't have much to say today.

Don't lose heart popped into my mind while stitching yesterday on this cloth woven base that was patiently waiting for like 3 years.

Love is a patchwork, keep your needle threaded.

I have some follow up doctors appts and stuff to attend to.  I'll take a little time.

I have found 32 videos that seem to talk about edges , I will add them to The Zone glossary page for edge soon.

again, sunlight through a cat's ear.

I’ve been waiting on a tattoo appointment for many months now to have “keep your needle threaded” tattooed on my arm. As a reminder to me and a note to people I meet to stay prepared for whatever life hands you. Glad to hear the doctors appointment has gone well. Hoping for a storm here tonight.

Soft heart and sleepy Soul-O…perfect. Hoping the follow-ups go/went well 💚
32 videos about edges is pretty amazing.

Turning a square into a heart …. there are some “squares” out there who could use a little heart stitching! Keep your need threaded indeed! Never know when it will come in handy… I mend a lot of stuffed animals and kids’ backpacks these days – Granny can fix it!

What a gorgeous heart. May your Drs appointments go well. May your health be improving. And may indoor plumbing happen for you. 🩷

Hoping all goes well with your medical appointments. I’ve reached the age (apparently) where my medical appointments far surpass my social schedule. But if it keeps the old bones moving it’s worth it.
    Love the heart.

Hi Jude, I never think of taking small pieces with me for medical appointments, I usually take a book. I always took mitten knitting but instead of moaning about not having stitching time, I’m going to take small pieces to stitch on. Thanks again for inspiration and hopefully another way to stop the heart racing anticipation…Thinking of you.

I’m funny. I drive around with a floss threaded needle poked into the cloth roof of my old Toyota just in case I need it, and so I’ll remember where I put my travel needle and thread🥰

We got that thunderstorm last night. It was awesome to watch (although my dogs did not enjoy it). I have seen so many lightning strikes at one time in a long time. So much noise but I sat on our deck until it started raining. So amazing. I know you’re taking your time so you keep getting healthy. Love this heart!

You never know when you will need to slip an extra “stitch” in your heart, memories become the thread that holds it together… may your appointments go easy for you.
