a Soap Opera Really

slowly

The mend of the PJs continues.  From here.  A little wobbly  probably  because the patch is a bit of a loose weave but I wanted the flexibility in the elbow.  But also I just didn't (didn't need to worry) care that much.  It is aligned enough to function and well... it will be an interesting new form for the plaid.

Today, all my free and free enough classes may be unavailable due to a Typepad (the internet host) Server error.  Which is a reminder, again, to move them. My to do list is like a river.

Dad was a painter

Dad's painting is the kindest reminder I have.  I can hear him saying, things take time. Remain useful.

free patching an A

So, ok let me loosely consider another A.  A for Again.  Again.

Human beings can be so amazing. The things we do. Isn’t it amazing how some of us have this urge to create? Paintings, stitching, music? I’m always amazed. And then sometimes I think we are the worst. Destroying the planet, being mean. It’s all a mishmash. But love and life always prevail. I love your father’s painting.

  2. Love, love, loved this post. I’m recovering from some pretty intense surgery and health problems. My needle skills of all kinds are slow and I’m really trying to learn to slow down, repetition is how we learn, good enough is really good enough. Your work gives me such happiness 😊

…the kindest reminder….I shall borrow that if I may…kind reminders…says it all. And encompasses a entire world experienced….

Such an admirable painting. Beautiful. Yesterday I got to assist in hunting skelton parts in an owl’s digested pellet to determine its prey. Discovering bone by bone, slow and easy. Like an “A”rcheologist 😊🦉

HOW WONDERFUL AND COMFORTING TO HAVE YOUR FATHERS ‘ PAINTING TO BE ABLE TO ACTUALLY TOUCH WHERE HE TOUCHED.
FEEL HIS LINGERING THOUGHTS AND SEE HIS TALENTS. A TRUE BLESSING!

I love the painting by your father! And that your to do list us like a river. That explains it to me. Mine is flowing and meandering all over the place…. but I never imagined it as a river. What a beautiful insight! Thank you!
