days

July 11, 2022 by jude

Time seems to be slipping past me… losing track really, maybe that’s a good sign. I stopped marking my calendar, I take my chances at remembering. Food is forming.  Not sure what kind of tomatoes these are, forgot.  Sure are pretty though. Malibar got tall. Er. It’s 5 AM, posting early because I have not slept yet. Goodnight day. Hope the world has not exploded by the time I wake up.

Three Deep

August 8, 2021 by jude

I placed my Deep Pool of Thought over a Nest of Days so I might Reconsider Freedom. Gee, that’s a mouthful, isn’t it? From the side, Three cloths deep, but many more moments… It became a Medicine wheel Basket.  In my mind.  Not a shield but a deep pool of holding some sort of personal order.  And acceptance.  Of what might be but maybe never will be.  And I can rest in that, the imagined.  The form that arises if […]

Just because

May 19, 2021 by jude

Just Because she was present here on the porch.  It’s 7 AM and already 65.  The chill has past.  Bees are a-buzzing. She, the spider, is hiding under the cloth now. Probably fairly true to color.  The porch wall might not be the best place to photograph.  Color seems to change there.  But color is not a “thing” anyway, it is a relationship between the eye and the brain and the moment.  Anyway, the roof is a deep red, I […]

A New Wall

April 13, 2021 by jude

Here we are. Almost the middle of April. Big moon coming.  And I have a new design wall out on the porch.  I painted it white last summer.  The porch is my studio now for as long as it is warm enough. I am thinking I will simply work on the Just Home series through April.  No other agenda.  I am organizing my cloth thoughts for May when I will be able to talk and film outside.  And begin again. […]
