I had to chuckle about how Soul-o has become very vocal upon your return. You are his human…and clearly, he is letting you know it! So glad you home and feeling better. May you continue to improve!!

Sometimes ..life throws us a curve. I wanted to tell you.. to Hope For The Best. Accept the changes you experience. Find your niche again.
Know that you survived and have come through. Don’t push yourself..
Life Changes .. are difficult.. mind altering.. physically altering.
Accept the changes that have occurred. Don’t expect instant renewal of energy, nor return of norm… allow yourself to discover who you are today. These are things I have experienced after a Life Altering Event.
Don’t press yourself to over perform. Limitations might happen.. sometimes those changes are challenging. Slowly you will find what is most comfortable and re-establish a new norm. Prayers!

  3. This post from you was a real treat, and I imagine it took a lot of work to put it together.
I remember seeing a quote on your wordpress blog, “If the path before you is clear, you’re probably on someone else’s.” I’m eager to see where all our paths lead and I’m happy all of us here get to cross paths for a long while. May the path before you be healthy and peaceful and rich.

So so GOOD! to see your face and hear your voice! ❤️ You are a presence in my world that I love and appreciate! Here’s to your returning health and energy at whatever pace it takes…just going as you might say. ❤️

So wonderful to hear your voice and see your face. I’m glad you are home with Soul-o and out of the hospital. May you heal easefully.

I know exactly what you mean about stressing over Soul-O. And I could hear your voice softening with affection and relief when you told us “He’s okay.” I’m so glad you’re back home with him and able to get outside a bit. I let a sweet potato sprout in my kitchen a week or two ago (ADHD) and it’s growing a pretty sturdy vine. Soon it will need a pot and some outside time of its own. Hoping the local rodents don’t decide to snack on it.

Yeah, he’s never been home comfortable with anyone but me. I probably worry too much.
Well nothing bothers garlic, a good start for now.

    Take care,

  11. Jude~ Two weeks is a long time. I’m glad you are home again and can continue to heal and spend time with Soul-o and the “things” that nourish you. Slow and simple feels better and better, eh?
Also, I really love the ‘talking newsletter’ so much!

Hi, Jude. I’ve tried to comment twice, and it disappears. So very good to hear your voice, and to see you and Soul-o reunited. That in itself is healing…Take good care of the two of you~

There’s nothing like a hospital stay to make you appreciate home more. Take it easy and heal.
90s here this week; I think spring is coming to an end.
