Flowers just appear here.
I have scattered so many seeds and then there are just the ones that are scattered by the wind.
I am always researching to learn more about what just grows.
I have learned so much since moving here.
It's funny
how it's only been a few years and I have witnessed so much change in plant and animal behavior...
I think simply by shrinking myself down and looking closer.
There is a ring of seeds on this cloth called Grow, and I suppose a few blooms are in order... maybe a record of this June here, most l likely, the last one here. And if not, well it's a big cloth, it can handle many seasons. The wild daisies have finished, but the ones I planted didn't get to far after a deer visit last night. I put one here in their memory .
I am thinking a lot about blanket, and all the large cloth here.

One wild daisy can change a world….like love…it can change a world. Beautiful work….jusy lovely 🦋
it can…✌️
A blanket can also become a cape! Also thinking about those childrens stories with child…… teatowel/tablecloth holding precious things is tied around a stick and slung over ones shoulder, ready for the next adventure……seems like a great way to travel!
yeah, I will be on the road later today, using one of my blankets to carry stuff!!!
It’s a joy to watch a land re-wild, at least a bit. When I moved here, the previous owners had been major weed whackers. There was hardly a fern on the edges of the forest. Now, they are everywhere, along with so many wildflowers. More beauty and food for everyone. 🧡
Yeah, it such a relief…
You have given so much to that property, it’s been a joy to follow.
I’m glad to leave it nurtured…
So much planted here Jude, by you and the other ragmates. It’s a lovely garden of sharing and growth.
Love the drawing and I too noticed the outlet. Charming.
Funny how the outlet showed up in so many of my old drawings. Nothing plugged in tho….
What a comment on the times, eh?!!
Bruno must be approaching the interesting age where everything is new and wonderful.
Yeah, harder to handle tho, ha!
How well Grow is looking….growing from one season to the next..and then the next….timeless really…
Absolutely…it’ll be a jungle soon.
Blanket….Linus’ Blanket, a blanket of snow, a blanket statement, a quilt, a cover, coverlet, covered.
Poetry!
Linus, ha!
Oh, I am going to practice shrinking myself and just observing!
Keeps getting better and better…
I love it when plants & flowers just appear. I spent years trying to “control” my garden without much success. Now I just enjoy & encourage the good things that grow. It’s great to see Grow on your wall. I looked back and saw what Grow first looked like when you started – Wow! What a transformation! This is so inspiring!!
Yeah, I was late this year and I went out and found tomato plants in the compost. Just transplanted them.
Think about how much we have transformed over the years. And we are not done yet!
Laughing…I posted last night about looking closer too. It’s always important but this time of year, when there is so much abundance, I think we need to slow down more. Love the daisy on Grow and thinking about how we learn about place…
The more I zoom in, the wilder it becomes! Maybe place is what becomes of knowing space.
I spoke a loud; hee hee, I love that when I saw your bed drawing (with a wall outlet!!) Looks like a lovely nest to rest in! I see coreopsis and echinacea, but what are the little pink cluster flowers! ( & Tiny whitw daisy/aster types?) I’m attempting to start a small wildflower meadow in the neighbor’s “back 40” ( feet, not acres 🤣)
Having great luck at grass and weeds! HAH! But I persevere…
Grow(th) and Seeds have been on my mind a lot lately!! 🌱💚🌱
Candytuft
Iberis umbellata (Brassicaceae)
came in a wildflower mix I got early on…
I’ve never had much success with planting seeds … nature does a far better job of it than I
and now I’m humming James Taylor … “seeds of the universe ever endeavor to grow, tiny pieces of everything, into the water they go”
It never goes as planned. But I like surprises…
Beautiful thoughts, nature marks time for us, and teaches so much.
Funny, our tendency to measure…
Love your wildflowers and bed with quilt sketch 💙
always loved that sketch, it has resurfaced and I have some new thoughts…
Yes! Looking more closely, with Child Eyes! Children are so much more physically close to the ground…to blades of grass, and the tiny creatures that reside in unobserved places! Perhaps you have been granted new vision, and are getting to know your land for the first time…a daisy of a thought!🪶
Maybe I will go back to crawling!
Or…walk in the Woods, sit on a log next to a clear, dark pool, and meditate!
Ah the sounds of silence…
I watch my granddaughter in her first reach for a stand. The prowess in her. Wow
And then, a climb into daddy lap for a breather.
Crawling is underrated 😏
Yes! Bruno, the grandson is walking but he also loves crawling.
