The bleeding hearts have finished blooming but are busy making seeds. It rained all night but the sun will be out soon.
I will take a few days off to organize some sort of garden. Things that just grow and come back, herbs, flowers, a wild garden.
I will go back to What if Wednesday for the Not Forever Zone going forward. A July newsletter is forming because it is almost not June anymore. This has been a transformative month.
Y'all have a good weekend.

does soul-o ever follow u out into the garden?
He is an indoor cat here so far…considering letting him out soon.
I love seeing the pictures of your yard. The green heart is phenomenal. Green is definitely my favorite color. Really beautiful work.
Green is greener here than I remember
Our weather for the past three summers has Just Been Not. No drought, no marsh, no blaze, no fog, no flame, no ice. It’s just weather. Like you’d feel if you lived in a globe. Bland, a definition of that carries no weight for growing beyond what it needs to.
And i do love your greenheart,
Weather here has been extremely, last winter very unusual from what I hear from long term residents. Summer is late, very short growing season, unless Autumn is unusually warm.
Raining here today as well, and for the next week. We needed it as June has been hotter and drier than usual. Can’t believe that 3 days ago I was wearing shorts and a skimpy top and sweltering and today I’m in the garden in smart wool.
Will spend the rest of this drizzly day on fiber related things. Just one of the other wonderful things about Summer rain.
Very up and down here also. But it’s nice, the change of pace.
Everything is so lush with the recent rains here, too, but we are still in a “significant drought.” Love the green heart. Happy gardening! I’m planting some perennials and herb pots and it’s so good for one’s soul 💚
We’re ok here, was really dry for a while but I think for now ok, more rain coming. But humid now and big heat moving in. Yuck.
Indeed yuck on big heat. Here, not until next mid-week
