Today just wallowing in my human-ness.
That's Maggie on the right waving. ( just a loose thought) at the April Moon. The Pink Moon, I know it's not pink but I imagine because of the stories that surround it.
Slower than usual going here. There are many reasons you might not know unless I tell you. I'm working on it. The pink moon created by indigo dipping over some of Deb's hand dyed cloth. I knew it would be perfect.
Cloud is on my mind because of its formlessness, which I have been thinking has to do with our minds moving too fast. Thoughts can often be like clouds. Unless you catch them.
Ground Ivy is blooming. Creeping Charlie I think they call it. Wonder why?
Some lawn guy dropped by and volunteered to get rid of this for me. It's everywhere, mixed with dandelion, moss and wild thyme. I asked why? It's beautiful, medicinal, edible, drought resistant and the bees love it. And I don't have to mow it. He said, after a pause... "I don't know, it's my job". We did both laugh.
Here he is again, sunset in April. He seemed to be posing. I wish I knew...
Just Glowing probably.

I don’t know if my post on other one came thru? But anyway I love that”tree”’as I struggle with a severe hiatel hernia and a back that keeps “crumbling” but I try to stay positive. Would love to own this?😊
Hey Helen, yes I responded but I will email you…
love the conversation with the lawn guy and the pink moons too
Soul-O ,dreaming of being a black panter lazely (and gracefully) soaking up the sun.
he seems to become one outside…
Oh, ha, I totally LOVE the lawn guy’s response, perfect!
Soul-o’s tail says a lot there 🧡
Yeah, the whole exchange was great.
He would never use that contraption until I moved it there.
Ohh you can dye with ground ivy!
Really? Oh yeah!
💗🌸
hi!
Just thinking and hoping all is well for you <3
I’m fine. ❤️
Soul-O is enjoying life and thinking of birds.
Happy Earth Day.
watching chipmunks I think too.
Jude: love your musings & photos … They always give me more ideas for the cloth i have & will sew upon.
sew on!
When we lived in Mohegan Lake, just down the road from you, Creeping Charlie was all that would grow under the trees beside the cottage we were renting. It’s the spicy smell of it that I remember most. Why I went barefooted when we got married under those trees. Dancing and merriment trampled up the fragrance and Creeping Charlie was ready to party all over again in a few days.
yeah it has really taken over since I moved in, maybe I will dance in it…
I see a rosy edge in your first photo, it really is a pink moon! Can’t wait to see what comes of your cloud figure. I like how you’ve switched up the cloud game – instead of seeing things in clouds, you’re seeing things as clouds. There were some amazing sky filling ones yesterday.
looks a bit like a magnolia petal too. yeah, new eyes lately. and today, not a cloud in the sky…
I love the he laughed with you! 😁🌞
yes, I loved that the moment turned into that.
And I think to myself…
What a wonderful world.
ok, song of the day
Ha. Creeping Charlie was one of THEE hanging plants we all had in our bedrooms as teens. haha It looks beautiful over at your place.
Wandering Jew (strange name), Spider Plants and Pothos, of course also hung around a lot. Funny the things that get embedded in one’s brain 🙂
Love the lil pink moon.
yeah, the other three have history with me but Creeping Charlie is new.
things get funnier and funnier.
Happy Earth Day ( altho in my book, every day is Earth Day!!!)
I now around the great (& getting greater) swaths of clover in our yard, the bees love it so!
…I’m certain it drives some super-tidy neighbors crazy (good! Ha!)
But we have insects, pollinators, many birds, squirrels, turtles, lizards, etc etc! HURRAY!!
I love how cats “pose”…
The Glowing Soul-O brings joy!
As do you🩵
yeah all kind of clover, I let it take over one corner of the garden, the big pink kind. no lizards but frogs!
Beautiful photo of the moon and trees. Thank you for all you do.
I walked out the door and yelled oh!
We have clover ,dandelions, and creeping Charlie in our
yard. I’m sure the owners of the McMansions in our neighborhood hate our lawn. When we first moved here
our apple tree was buzzing with bees during the spring
bloom. I could hear it from the back steps. It is took me a while to figure it out. We still get some bees, but not like that.
I have never been too popular in McMansion world… Ha!
There are a lot of bees here. That makes me happy.
They started building the McMansions about 3years after we moved here.
all is uncertain. i love the lawn guy story
I loved that he could both pause… and laugh.
I love that he could, too! And maybe, it planted a seed in his mind…..
One leaf of ground ivy on your tongue can take you quite far…..
Sounds mysterious…
To be human…it’s a pretty complicated thing. 🙂 Lots of clouds here this morning but I caught a glimpse of the moon around 3 AM.
Showing his sweet patience within sunset and pose, maybe knowing what would rise next! Such an endearing rich moon for Earth day. 💞
such a wonderful time of year here to celebrate earth.
No kidding. But yet, the potential for great things is there.
I thought the moon looked a bit like a magnolia petal here.
I think he too is cogitating on the meaning of being in existence. Just my take.🙃
😂
I think he may be daydreaming of birds…
I applaud your response to the young man! I think he won’t forget that. The neighborhood yardman offered to spray the clover in our yard. I told him, “No! Everything is organic in my yard and Gardens!” He said, “Really?” I thought, “Really, the clover will be gone with the heat. Let it be.”
The World needs education. Love your Pink Moon.🩷
Happy Earth Day!
backatcha
maybe the world needs less people
