The weather has been wild. The wind blew the Daffys over. It's been mostly freezing. I brought them in. This is my rescue window. I am always trying to encourage new roots or prolong the beauty or simply understand. Going.
The squirrels are back, it was a big year for nuts so they were not around much at the feeders or near the house this winter. They simply had enough and did their own thing. A little Peace on earth.

The wind here is a bit unnerving, the way it slams into the house and raddles all the windows. Our daffodils are at the end of their brilliance and the red bud trees are in full bloom (but tossed around today I’m afraid). I look forward to joining your forever zone and for more creative time once the eclipse crowds have gone home.

Beautiful daffodils & blocks! My crocus flowers emerged a couple of days ago, I am SO happy. Here on the high desert we are a long ways from warm weather, but the quality of the light has changed and I’m loving the longer days. Looking forward to getting lost in the Forever Zone, too! Thanks so much for your hard work and for all of the wonderful things that you share.

Daffodils like trumpets calling in the new. Awaiting coastal winds to blow away the nuisance Live Oak catkins finding home in hair. So happy to see the moonie!

I scattered them everywhere, they bloom before the leaves emerge so even in the woods. They are sunshine on a cloudy day. 🌞
