Typical March

home

and there they arecelebrate

Yeah so it's March and March is the trickster month here.  Not sure why anyone is surprised at the swing.  Spring yesterday, winter today.  They say  maybe some snow tonight.  Late post today. Stuff.  Was out for a while cutting some kindling and got ready for some colder days.

Daffodils are blooming as they do and they will be fine as always.

Just celebrating that and trying out some new imagery in cloth.

Thinking about bursting forth despite challenge.

Your weather makes me smile..spring then a winter day…and so on. Unlike here..summer steadily gaining ground. New flowers in vibrant colours everywhere…enjoying this in-between spring-ish time for as long as I can.
Love your sun which flowers..beautiful and warm.

  2. Your sunshine flower is great. There were days in the 70’s, today a shift to 50. Winter and spring seem so different, but they really do rock side by side.

  3. I have loved our sunny stretch here and it is much easier to prune when it is dry, but I am glad that the rain is returning…better for the baby plants and seeds. Snow? It could still happen too. Glad that you are prepared and love that sunny flower. 🙂

Love that cloth – it looks to me like those incredible images of the sun and the solar flares. The dark patches on the sun look like the eruptions of something red-hot and molten. Fantastic and menacing.

Such a beautiful day here for the beginning of Spring. Hated to waste it shopping but oh well.
I love your fat little orange marigold.

i love love the changes in march. i don’t love them in january and february! march weather makes me so happy–more light and cool or snow or rain, but the ticks were out–last week. yuck.

  7. We had snow overnight here, just a bit, more tonight. Yes, the swings back and forth never really surprise me in March. I have a full kindling basket, but running out of small wood to start the fire with…. tomorrow! Speaking of kindling, what do you use to cut it up, a bow saw or do you have something motorized? I need to get something and don’t want a big chain saw.

Cool, light patchy frost last night…all is bursting out here! The Redbuds, oh, my! Spring has sprung, officially! Love those daffodils…my very favorite flower…

    Love the bright, cheery cloth.
Your thoughts: “bursting forth despite challenge” 🤣 😂
    Excuse the sarcasm, it happens.
Anyway, I also spied the basket of cloth…ON WHEELS! that looks fun, tell more!
    xo

Same here in Seattle — beautiful warm day here and tomorrow, and ongoing for several days, cooler temps and the obligatory rain! Going with it…
