Softly it Dings, after a bit of rain.

I cleaned the bird boxes and found some sweet evidence of connection. Thread.
I really wasn't happy with how visible these dots were, so filling in the spaces occurred to me. I am Splitting Hairs. This time I asked myself, (?) what if I try some subtle shading. These cabins might make nice basket liners. And now looking as this Small Cloth here, I have some other ideas.
Some ideas for the future of the Forever Zone are forming. (and the shop is on vacation) I have received a lot of email inquiries. Please give me a bit more time to settle a few things...
I am working on a new community page.
Years ago a bird nest fell, and part of the nest building were our Malamute’s hair to make it cozy inside😉.
Ha!
Another exquisite work coming alive.
The spirit part is a kind of breath….
Bird weaving beauty dearest Jude .. your share with local wildlife is a Cherry 🍒 on the ‘cake of magic you bake as cloth whisperer.
So many new birds here, word is spreading, ha!
Simply Lovely! Stitched expressions.
Nature never ceases to show how we all interact with one another.
You have offered a gift unknowingly and have received acknowledgement of acceptance .. like us the birds thank you!
Interaction. The importance of that…
yes, really love that hazy blue, perfect.
thinking a lot about color lately. it’s become more like a reflection of feeling.
I love the laciness of the blue stitches, and seeing the nest- it’s like a gathering of stories. Chopped some inches off of my hair this week and put it out for the birds, hope it’s useful.
Ha! Every offering is a blessing.
Yes! It has come together so beautifully. I love the symmetry.
I have a coconut fiber hanging basket liner. Blue jays pull the fibers out for their nests. Birds are so creative building houses. Mom had a hummingbird nest in the rose bush under her window that was lined with rose petals. Lucky birdies.
yeah it is nice to think about nest building.
WOW
just wow to all the detail work.
Beautifull
thanks, it is funny how much I didn’t like this one for a while but how just going is teaching me again about form.
Pouring rain and storming, here–but the plants are happy!
Looking forward to new ideas!!
cold moving in again, but I want to make soup anyway
Filling those spaces adds so much! Love the thread connection. Birds, such talented weavers.
A wren is building a nest on the windows frame, I’m watching!
More grounded, stable… My dad once found a hummingbird’s nest that included caulking from a boat.
Nests are amazing constructions, so much story. Some bird was pulling at the fringe on a carpet I washed and hung on the rail…
Nice.
hey!
this looks really good. i love what birds do with foraged fiber. i once found a mouse nest in a shrub stem. built with abaca paper pulp i’d dumped from some failed work. it had bleached beautifully white in the winter sun. looked just like a weird birds’ nest, but it wasn’t.
yes, I just love finding a bit of my work here and there… I’ve been composting old scrap now and then, I dig them up with the potatoes…
Sun finally peaking out from the clouds this morning! 🌞
Have a good day Jude 💙🕊
I think we are in for some cold days again, so soaking it in…
Love the way the blue stitching softens the dots and seems to connect the outside with the inside so much more! So beautiful.
You are connecting the dots, and soon you will be enlightened as to the future of the Forever Zone…☘️
Happy St. Patty’s Day!!💚🍀
and I am part Irish!
it more of a greenish blue, which is complimentary to the red and brings up the color a bit I think.
