Rain

Mostly wordless. Unfocused.  But less bitching.

Just to say, again, that the cloth I call Grow is also a tablecloth.  The large ring was created using this table as a template.  The inner ring matches the porch table and while it is there it also serves as a summer tent for Soul-O.  A useful cloth will be a much loved cloth.

he wants to go out

love how this works

I will finish the outer ring of dark and light while it is here.  To the rhythm of the rain. imagining what might be next.

c’est ravissant et Soul O aime beaucoup. En France nous avons vu aux actualités les inondations de New York, j’espère que vous n’aurez pas ce mauvais temps !!

Glad for your drainage there. I saw vids this morning of Brooklyn and nyc. Yikes!
I thought SoulO might be part of a cat Ouija board there.

  3. Funny expression on Soul-O’s face there, ha. I like that the circles are the sizes of your two different tables, I don’t know, something good in that. POURING rain here today, Rhu has given up on outside and I’m going up to rest my back – straight out in bed for a while. Enjoy the rain.

Cat paws up on a table. Staying dry. I hope you don’t float away.
Your yurt with its rain hat is likely keeping critters high and dry.
Wishing you a warm stitchy day.

Wouldn’t it be nice if rain could be apportioned out more fairly? We got an inch earlier this week. Gratefully accepted since we hadn’t gotten any for about a month or 6 weeks. The only thing that made the absence tolerable was the fact that it’s been lovely and cool with little to no humidity. Unusual for summer in southern Indiana.

Gosh this is insane, raining 48 hours at a time non-stop. It’s good that there is such instant drainage here with all the rocks. Seems all or nothing, last year so so dry.
