March is a tease

Well here it comes again. Snow,  tomorrow.  And then, again next week.  It is warm enough to be outside midday, walking,  but then always below freezing at night.

A thought caught yesterday...

Sort of combines center with foundation.  As one piece.

Thinking of  tearing some thin cloth into squares,  then  playing what if in the centers, then foundation piecing around them.

I'll try. One at least.

I will work with colorlessness.  A Sanity cabin maybe.

Holding old questions in some useful way.

trying not to wish the days away

Meanwhile, we wait for warmer days.

Start seeds. I should test the Indigo seed here. Yes, I will do that.

And put Grow back on the table.

“let nothing disturb your peace” and nothing does,
rain, snow, people, the chaos in the world , nothing. An amazing place to be , my stitching helps and posts like yours, they are always so serene. Thank you

Thanks to you I’ve been enjoying mixing embroidery with hand piecing 💙
Stay warm and hoping stormy weather stays away🤞🏼

I love the idea of stitched, and then pieced.
Dark and rainy here this morning (& here I’d planned to work in the gardens, hmph.) —maybe the raindrops will wash some of the pollen out of the air. Ha.

    Stay warm in your cabin(s)!

Oh, pollen, that’s the next hurdle. I need to make some curtains for the porch, it blows right through the screens.

I plan to try this as well … it all works together … stitch cloth embroidery nine patch … they are all friends! Wishing you a lovely day.

It’s a simple approach, one thing leaning into another. Any day is a gift at this point. Trying to stay with that way of looking at it.
