I saw the gold waves, the blue stitched edges, the word sad and thought of Ukraine…waves of sadness but the people hold strong, stitched together in solidarity that serves as such an inspiration…so although not your intent with this video Jude, thanks for the thoughts that rose up in me…
yes, it is all there, which is how it is, right? somehow intention is larger than intended, in perspective… the colors made me pick this one up today

It’s been calling me to give it a try. I’ve been going through your blog specifically looking at your work where you used this stitch. I love the way it gives the cloth so much dimension. I’m going to do some on “moms” quilt, soon.
One of these days I’ll take a photo of what I’ve done so far and share on Instagram. You really have inspired me to use her clothes in a way I never thought possible.

Had our first walk today in the waves for 2022. Ankle freeze unlike recent brain freeze. 🌊😘☮️
