S is for Split Backstitch

A split stitch  is not  new. I like it  back stitch style on the surface. Which it easier to control.  It is my favorite stitch for both line work and filling.  Because it gives such an integrated surface, I have finally come to name it the tapestry stitch (5/6/18).
