Instead of stressing, now I just get up.
In this case I just kept stitching. Only with the idea of using this woman alignment in a different way. Stands with Trees was the thought that emerged, because I have been wanting to use the wrong side of that brown print for a tree for a while and then while sorting I found this beautiful Moon dyed by Glennis so long ago.
A new sense of place and season emerged.
This morning I am thinking...Time To Grow New Eyes.

Jude, I agree with Linda above, who suggests, ” You could never post too much “. 😊
❤️
I love her too Jude🌸😍she is a happy tree spirit. The tree colour is just perfect fir a tree . Sleep issues .. yes .. me too . Like you I get out of bed have some herbal tea & do some stitching . Then go back to bed & sleep 😴 🫶
Yeah, the tea thing helps.
Jude~ Oh, I love her!! First of all, the colors in their deepness say to me remember the (my) original days with Spirit Cloth – the old banner that is now so faded, but there…still there. I too love hearing the meanings of the symbols, as I’ve been adding new ones to my leather stitching. I agree with the size of the moon feeling just right here and that green snowflake…what a great symbol!
As for sleep. Yeah. sigh. And our Michelle in NYC…such a night prowler was she. I think age, along with other changes and concerns plays a part. This was a great solution. After all, who says one must sleep at night? Why not in the day? (((hugs)))
Felt like the old days while stitching.
I can’t sleep in the daytime for some reason. I just get through the day and sleep deep the next night.
Oh my… Stands with Trees, really love this. A nutritionist I used to work with advised me to take magnesium to help with sleep. I had bad insomnia last week starting right before the time change. With the time change on top of that, I got really exhausted and my sleep was terrible. Starting to get back to something better. And, sweet Soul-o. 🧡
Magnesium didn’t help me.
I love hearing your story behind the creating process of your pieces. I don’t feel like I have any deep meaning in what I make… just keep going!
💙🕊️
I get a deep sense of commitment from your pieces.
Tree Woman is amazing; I love her. I look forward every day to see a little message from you.
Sometimes I wonder if I post too much.
From my perspective, you could never post too much.
It’s just that there is so much in our inboxes these days.
A beautiful piece. The large crescent moon works so well. And all the symbols held aloft…I’ve been sleeping much better recently, I don’t know why. I wish the same for you.
Comes and goes.
I love how old scraps become new!
I dream of better sleep with fewer monsters upping our anxiety on the daily
Yeah, maybe I’m in nightmare avoidance mode.
So MUCH her(e). That tree knot above her right ear 🤎🤎🤎 That MOON 🌘
Sorry to hear about your sleep troubles, and we commiserate, relentless wind keeps us awake 🙁
Love to you and Soul-O 💚🌱
All the little puzzle pieces came floating in on the stream of Consciousness.
There is also some animal in the bedroom wall.😂
This piece is beautiful and deep. Only you could have created it. Thank you for the inspiration you provide with each post.
❤️
They’ll be time enough for sleeping when the stitching’ s done.

I think this is my favorite piece of all you have done, Jude … and that’s saying a lot! That gorgeous CG rescue t Moon, and green snowflake!! Wow.
I like it because it is giving me new ideas.
Surrendering to wakefulness can be a good way to go.
She is fierce. Stand back, indeed! Thanks for running through the symbolism of the cloth. It adds a lot to my viewing. Fringe as a reminder to continue? Love it.
Fighting to sleep makes it awful.
Your “Women who Stands with Trees” is a beautifully inspired work.
Tell us don’t despair,
women have been on the frontlines— marching, organizing, refusing.
Good to hear it’s giving you new ideas!
Peace woman!
It felt good as it formed.
