Problem Solving

This morning 5AM

I'm really getting tired of this.

But then...What If dancing will help? It is Wednesday... I think Wednesday will go back to being What If Wednesday (aka the Not Forever Zone).  My mind is clearing.

Supposed to get a wood delivery.  I guess I'll dance a bit to loosen up and go out and clear the road in.  Make a space. I got plowed out yesterday.  Hard to keep up with this. Only a few new inches of fluffy stuff anyway (like every frickin' day),  At least it's fluffy.  But of course that's because it is below freezing.

I'll feed the birds first.

And hey, maybe some snow washing for carpets! before the temperature rises.

It’s been cold. We’ve had snow, now rain tonight then it’ll all freeze. It’s the Nova Scotia pattern. I’m happy that you’ll be getting wood! It gets hard now ’til it’s done…ugh!

I just worked out it’s a car Jude ..your car ?
Shouldn’t be for much longer ?
Different lifestyle to Australia .. we’re waiting & waiting for rain .. it’s so dry.
Enjoy your day with your stitching 🫶

Rain in the forecast later in March. Of course then we’ll probably have ice. Best to just let the weather do whatever it wants. It will anyway!

  4. I started my day with feeding the birds, and shoveling a bit to the wood shed. The birds are so joyful and their songs definitely have a spring mood to them. I’m still loving the snow, it’s been so light and fluffy this year. I need to snow wash a couple of kilims, but the temp is already a bit high. Take care!

Well I personally vouch for dancing for what ails you! Dance as if no one is watching, that old refrain is my choice of RX. If you dance “hot” enough, hips shaking, arms flung out, legs raised high, toes tapping, swaying to and fro, you just might melt some of that snow. Plus Winter Bitch might even laugh…I know it helps my Inner Bitch enormously when I can strut my stuff, in the house and out by the apple tree! It’s what I did last night instead of watching the state of disunion, I salsa danced and my inner Bitch roared!

  6. I’m grateful you’re getting wood to warm
    I’m grateful your snow
    is fluffy
    I’m grateful that you
    are there safe and warm
(I’m grateful I don’t have snow except when I look north to the distant mountains)

When my husband and I lived in the Hudson Valley…in Shandaken…the snow never seemed to end! Rule #1 that we learned fairly quickly…you don’t plant a garden till after Mother’s Day or you will be planting that garden twice! Memories!

It’s been a WHILE since we had this much snow here in Maine… I’m not getting crabby though…….water levels were getting very very low and all my shrubs were tending toward tan and brown colors last summer. Hopefully, the grass will be GREEN this year?????
Generator guy came out to make sure it’s “ready to roll” when power goes out…..

I snow washed my carpet too! It really works! Maybe next year get a tarp to cover your car, Ive seen my neighbors do that and just pull the snow covered tarp off. We’re getting another storm right now after 2’ on Monday!

Yes, I used to clean my carpets in the snow, been so distracted…forgot.
I have a car cover, not sure where it is.
There seems no end to the snow this year.

I live in Northern MI where it snows almost everyday and winter is not over until the “big one” in March but then it takes until April to melt everything. I’m happy that you didn’t get caught in the blizzard.
