What’s New?

The moonlight was amazing last night.

Taken from the bedroom window upstairs...that's the new path I shoveled to the birdfeeder.

It might not snow again until tonight.

I feel a newsletter coming on. Slowly.  I feel a bit frozen in time.

A  little Winter Wishing happened yesterday.

He loves my old woven things... Not too heavy, but warm.  I call him Bear lately.

The pillow needs some mending. The chair too.  Life is a lot about mending.

What's not new?  The looking back has begun.  As a way forward. Sometimes looking back brings clarityPerspective.  New Eyes.  And a way to let go, make more room for newness.

2013.  Not that long ago.  But  ancient.  I was searching for my wishing star tutorial and bumped into this. And then noted to myself that I have, get this,  thousands of You Tube videos. How can that be? Some never published. Some simply forgotten.

  1. I’m days behind in this slow January. Love the video! Rhu gets called bear all the time, since his name is Rhune Bear, all kinds of variations on that. Peace to you and Sol-o and the world. 🧡

Winter has loosened it’s grip today, warm rain, washed away my foggy mood.
Yes I think of him as Rhu Bear.
Soul-o is just curled up so much lately, hibernating style.
Peace really. At least we can dream.

I have an electric water heater. One of the newer things in this house, Installed not long before I moved in last year. Efficient and inexpensive. I guess I could use the woodstove for emergencies.

I grew up watching over your shoulder hold cloth and give it magic. Learned so much. So grateful. And here you are making fun with magic in window art. Cute.🙋‍♀️ YouTube opens so much for so many, my almost only tele time. And not too spoiled by interference. Soul-O gets all the best spots!😼

I think of so many possibilities when seeing and reading your posts and looking at your pictures but i am not done hibernating. Looking back is often a bit sad for me. Not in a sense of regret but more so as (bitter)sweet memories of times that are just gone. Good and bad….poof.
I feel like bear and i like the “Winter Wishing”. I imagne beeing that moon in the middle, still, while a lot is going on around me.
Thank you for going on Jude!

Jude~ What a beautiful snow-moonlight view and sweet Soul-o, looks so cozy. I remembered this video. I don’t always, but this one I did and I remember the ‘fun’ of it.
    Be well

I’m not good at looking back…I torture myself with should haves and ruminations of regret. I wish I could be kinder to myself…something to work on.

Love these pictures, looking back looks lovely from here 😍
Wow thousands! Really…that must be so nice to be able to listen to all those thoughts recorded 🤔

Hi Jude. It’s bitterly cold here in Nova Scotia. Strong winds and not much snow where I am. I remind myself that I can handle cold and to find the joy in it because the extreme summer heat we’re likely to experience again is frightening. Mending! Yes, so much of it. A beautiful photo and cozy Soul-o. Precious. Thanks for being out there Jude.

Soul-o looks to be hibernating like a bear 😁👍🏻
Amazing photo Jude with the trees and snow with your path! 💙🕊️
