A is for “And here we go…”

Ding!

Build a fire...

fire inside

shaped by need

A random choosing

I guess today A is also for action at the polls.

And then A could be for Applique.  That's a big subject, applique, to me it is a kind of patchwork. I have just begun patching together the glossary page... it'll take a while. Life is like a pile of scraps, keeping my needle threaded, just in case.

Jude~ We took our Action on Saturday, the first day of in-person voting. It felt Awesome.
    J. started saying a similar phrase “…and we’re off…” on the way to radiation a couple of years ago. Always said in the theme park, ride beginning kind of voice. Now we say it whenever we are heading out – to anywhere! Your phrase today reminds me of the way I Appreciate and treasure these lil things.
    As Always…thanks.
Oh, and I love your fat lil “A”!

Action produces change, even if it takes longer than your lifetime to see it.
I lost the little fat A in a pile of scrap yesterday. It’ll appear, I’ll start another later, typical of my weary mind lately.

I’ve never thought of a fire built as being rich in depth, but yours is, Jude. And I love your wide ranging list of ‘A’ thoughts and meanings! I love the surprise I immediately experience. And suddenly a ‘P’ word circles around it…..’Possibility’.

i love random patchwork, both in cloth and in life. using what’s available. seeing how it might work. combining “ugly” scraps in a beauty-full way… cats are brilliant at seeing from fresh perspectives.

Sharon~ And it doesn’t even always end up ‘ugly’! I did this with the Medicine Bags I weave…I started with yarns and combinations I thought were ugly – but then they really weren’t at all! Thanks for you reminder of this good point. Frees us up, makes us braver maybe?!

hi, nancy! i didn’t know you were a weaver also! it’s so much about “what-iffing”, isn’t it? forever grateful to jude for that caught thought! hope your foot’s feelin’ better!

Sharon, I mostly weave little Medicine Bags and “plant” them w/ free tags at local trailheads. Very fulfilling.
Thanks. Going back to the doctor tomorrow. We’ll see.

A is also for the Allergic reaction I had to spending too much time with my face over the marigold dye pot. And Also the steaming eco print pot. Migraines are no fun, will leave the lids on today.
