I’ve been trying to tell myself that I have what time I have to work with and what gets done, gets done. It’s been an on going practice in acceptance. 🙂
Sometimes you need to take your time, to go slow. Deers in a wood will always remind me of my brother when he was in a nursing home. We would sit and watch watch them from his bedroom window, how they merged with the trees and vegetation.
The land looks lovely, Jude. I like that photo, too. Enjoy the sun and warmth today. Weird to go from a fire on Sunday afternoon to heat and humidity on the way tomorrow.
Very interesting post–I took a class from India Flint
several years ago and one of the things we did was to make string. It gave us a whole new perspective on thread. Plus–it was very meditative.
thanks for the suggestion of the dandelion stems — i’ve been cutting them here also and hanging to dry. I wonder if the stems are so long because of all of the rain and wanting to make sure the little thingies (don’t know their term!) float away.

Good advice, I’ve been fighting it
What a glorious display of greens and interesting arrangement of trees-I’m sure your incubation time will result in thoughtful, beautiful creations!
It’s comforting to feel as if what we make is simply, just growing…
A snail moves at its optimal pace.
this was swell, thank you!
My eye was drawn to the circle of chairs, imagining you and your family there, Bruno running amuck (whatever amuck is! 😉😁)
Amuck had always been a grand imagining…
Shadow and land at one…you are home.🌀
I think so. I’m like a tree…or getting there.
Trees and shadows. I can smell that green. Really lovely.
Wonderful photos💚
Sometimes I see more in them after I post them.
There’s so much to be done and as you say, so little time.
That’s why, today I decided instead of being defeated by the heaviness of it, I will ride the wave while I can.

Oh, that is such a sweet memory to share, thank you!

It was 86 here today, but this cordwood house is comfortably cool.

Yes, and so basically to textile work.
Love the shadows and snail time movement is sometimes the perfect way of being.
Closer to earth time…
so much green! we had 3 inches of rain yesterday!

Probably the rain, but also here they stetch toward the light in the tall grass.
I guess, just seeds…
Oh, your Shadow is so sweet, standing there and waving. It looks to be on the Other Side…
Eerie, really.
