straying

Note to self:  Don't stray too far, unless you are ready to get lost.

a sudden burst of energy

A few more stiches I took.  And that was enough.  It would make a nice pillow I thought.  So I could hold on to it.  But I'm not making a pillow.  This one is previewing in the shop.  And I will try to finish whatever else is half done here and do a shop update soon.  I am reducing my prices in defiance.  I need a fresh start.  Or a clean break. Whatever it takes.

I have so many stories it could fill a book.

Oh! Thunder.

he hides from thunder Big rain coming.

at least I am drawing...

I'm all over the place but I'm not lost yet.  And you?

  1. During a huge storm this morning here in the Elginbur, ON area, the skies were bold and orange and then red,,, followed by frightening thunder – but I was reminded that time will pass. And the quiet of reading your posts and seeing the chats from others – along with the beauty of your sketches and the gorgeous cloth art…just made my day!
Miss you – be well and rest!

So good to see you here and hear your voice…husky and sexy 😉
Been thinking of you every day, hoping you were getting better.
I’m rather lost. This world created by humans is not terribly comfortable 😕 Thank goodness for the sanity of ragmates 💙
Cariad MAWR to you and Soul-O

I did miss hearing from you, glad to hear you are on the mend. My yoga teacher quoted her teacher:
    Start where you are.
    Use what you have.
    Do what you can.

    Be well, Jude.

Do you use herbs? Marshmallow root and fenugreek seeds are excellent for chest, lungs etc.

Yes, and they help, but there were multiple layers to my illness, peeling them away has been slow.
      Beginning where I am…

Welcome back into sunlight and shadow. They go hand in hand. Education vs influence. What abou the one good teacher that influences us to keep searching. ?

“She changes everything She touches, and everything She touches changes.” Not sure where I heard this but it calls to mind cloth and thread and how they transform in your hands as you work the needle. Good to hear your voice. Wishing you strength restored and heart as well.

Now I know that I am not the only one who missed hearing from you. And, sure enough, amid the pause, something fabulous came through your fingers!

to hear your voice, to see soul-o, your drawings, thoughts stitched ‘n written… soul mending takes time. a slow stitch, moment by moment. it’s happening. and we are all with u… x

Healing takes time, be gentle with yourself. Taking time to be silent, silent having the same letters as listen…coincidence? But it’s good to hear from you and I’m please to hear you’re on the mend and enjoying your garden. 🙏❤️

    Hey, Jude,
Just popping in to say, I’ve been looking for your post everyday and knowing health takes precedence over blogging. So, I’ve been content wandering around in your past post. After discovering the ( Looking for something) and of course your You Tube videos. Enjoying stitching too.
Blessings and hope you get better soon.
