Winter workout!
Beautiful photos & drawings! I love the self-hug, I’ve been doing a lot of those lately. I find them very reassuring & grounding. So good for your body and spirit to keep moving! Glad you’re settling in & doing well.
My goodness, how can you shovel? It’s hard work. Sometimes it’s refreshing to do physical work but honestly, shoveling that long drive?
I’m lucky, I hold the shovel in one hand and steer my scooter with the other. Too bad I cannot do your driveway.

I draw so often without really noticing…trying to catch that.
It does look like a lot but it also looks like the perfect work to help process all that happened in the last year.

Once upon a time I could have done that. Sounds like you’re doing it right with taking breaks. These days I’d probably have a heart attack if i tried, even with breaks. But, oh! it looks to pretty and I can almost smell the cold, clean air. That’s the part I miss.
Your first snow self looks like she has a warm blanket wrapped around her. Just her head is feeling the snowy cold. And your kitty-self looks like she is enjoying the snow and is wondering about that blanket. Maybe thinking “…later!” The images make me want to stitch some French knots!

I sure hope you can find a snow plow person. I mean, it’s great exercise and all, but there is more to life! Ha! I’ve done my share of extreme things taking care of myself, alone in the woods here, and I’m done with that now. Sweet response from Fedex Take good care!
I have the option, for now it’s fine. Everything is new.

Boy, you’re getting a good workout! But a plower would be nice. We’re blessed here with a couple of guys with plows, and they’re kind enough to clear the dirt roads in and out to the main artery to the highway. Hoping you get to take a little break soon, so you can get some stitching in!
