I just love “Grow” so much. 🙂 Butterflies sound like a wonderful addition.
I hope you tree stays standing until you are able to have it taken care of. Here, hot. It is still 102° at 6pm. It was 85° inside jsut a bit ago. I gave in and turned on the air. haha
Gosh, fingers crossed that the tree stays put! Exactly the same here. I shut all the windows last evening because of the cold air, and this morning, they were all fogged up. I let Rhu out and stepped out onto the stoop, and was hit with a wall of humidity. Inside it’s 70 and outside it’s 69, but feels hot. Definitely strange! Rhu is back in for the duration, now, having given up on the day as the rain got heavier and heavier. Unfortunately, I have to go out to physical therapy later this afternoon… oy.
I am loving the different sized and designed black and white triangles all around the edges of this large art piece. I realize I have always loved simple shapes, half shapes… each slightly different and unique. I love them all; they are a unique collection to me.
Best wishes going out to you & the tree! I love the idea of butterflies on Grow. I really enjoy listening to you talk about things. Hope your power stays on today!
That’s our Summer here, so humid. This year we even had afternoon showers that pop up in the afternoon, just like Florida and other more tropical places. Different for Southern Illinois. Debbie pushed some cooler air our way but no rain. Hope the tree holds!
Oh SO! You are getting OUR kind of weather !! Yes–when it is cool(ish) and then the tropical weather arrives, the cooler aka “drier’ air trapped inside the house causes the outside warmth & HUMIDITY to condense on the window glass (& sometimes makes the concrete sweat, too)—-a taste of life in the tropics-ha!
Ain’t it “fun”? yuk
I’m ready for Fall.
ha.
Love the idea of a ring of butterflies on “Grow”!!
Love what they represent.
( I think I might need to add some to “Boris”—or, moths,…maybe some beetles too….hmmm….)
We are getting a welcombed reprieve from the heat with cool drizzling rain here in the Midwest. Hope you dry out soon. Love seeing the growing piece again, it’s a journey just looking at it. I like hearing your voice.
My new weather descriptor is RELENTLESS. This week it’s rain. A week ago it was humid heat. Since I now always look at the part of the weather app that says “feels like,” I’m more aware than ever how humidity can make a temp feel ten degrees higher.
Yesterday was our first really yucky day. Hot, humid and haze from wildfire smoke. Supposed to be the same today and then start cooling. Weird weather makes everything surreal…a shift. Love the idea of adding butterflies. Grow and go…
Also here in the Virginia foothills all the windows were fogged up and it was so steamy outside yesterday evening.
It’s good to hear you. You have a lovely voice
It’s like that in Florida most of the time. Hot and humid outside, cool (AC) inside, so the (old) windows are always misty. We got a foot of rain near Tampa Bay, hope your turn isn’t overwhelming.
Beautiful indooor view. Butterflies for sure.
Not much humidity here; still hot, 100 again.
100 is too much for me, not used to it.
Me neither…

Yeah, I cave easier now that I am older.

it was a rough storm but we did not get the worst of it. Some really big damage and flooding all over the state.
😕

yes, they do seem a collection..

power was out for most of the day and night but it was ok. I like to talk so glad it works for you

there was a lot of rain, but the hill worked about well. The tree is stronger than imagined.
Butterflies would be a lovely add. The Grow Cloth is like a planetary wonderland … butterflies a perfect complement.
yeah, I think they will be a good addition

All my cloth has cat hair too! haha…
I am so ready for fall but the prediction is hot!
Not unusual to wake to foggy windows here, a good time to check for frog or others leaving their dewy trails. Hope tree stands tall! Be safe!
tree is still standing!

well we have dried out it seems and it is a bit cooler, thank you for listening!

It’s amazing isn’t it? I thought I knew humid…Not. eek.

I’m used to humidity but this is way more tropical than I have experienced. But I guess that expands my vision in a way..

Grow quilt looking great! 💙
Dreaming of cooler days here and too much brain fog this morning 🫠
This is one of the yuckiest days I can remember…
Reminds me of Galveston in the Summer, the air so thick you can cut it with a knife!
Love the anticipation of furry butterflies!

Expecting 2-4 inches, which is a lot for here, ground already saturated.
