What if Wednesday

Good Morning.

Not Soul-o

No, this is not Soul-o.  We caught sight of her  last evening.  Near sunset.  Again this morning.  Rolling in the catnip patch.  The catnip has actually spread everywhere.  She is young,  She ran back into the forest but not right away.  I talked, and there were a few minutes of sitting and looking and listening and rolls in the mint.  What if she comes back? Soul-o didn't puff up or growl or anything.  He is missing a few pieces but he still seems to know a girl when he sees one.  Stay tuned...

A basket is a hug

Today I am gathering up some of the scraps of self.  There are so many stories in here. I hope I can remember.  The Basket is a symbol for me. Myself.  And today. I think...a way to hug my selves. Before they wander off.

  1. A basket with leather handles!! All filled to the brim with possibilities 🙂
I wonder what will happen with this kitty. Such a strong memory of when Soul-o came. Funny.

We have a dove cage and, before the drought, a large catnip patch. Neighborhood cats would come and hang out with our cats. I think we were the neutral country of the neighborhood. Cats love the valerian too.
I’m think I’m past patching myself together; I’m giving away fabric and scraps. As they fade away so do I.

I filled up a very large bag yesterday of fabrics I know I will never use, donating to a local Goodwill or Salvation Army store.
And still plenty left to stitch with!
The new cat looks like a sister to Soul-o 🖤

I like the thought (& imagery) of hugging our Selves…a way to be Kind🩷
Wouldn’t it be grand if you and Soul-O found a friend?
Rampant Catnip…sounds like an alternative rock band! 🤣🤣🤣
Now I’ll go see what the Moon has to say! 🤩
