Enjoy the precious visit Jude. No matter how old they are, I have to choke back the tears when they leave! 50 and 57, so despite trying not to think about it, it means I’m not!

In was just commenting the other day about how little respect this plant gets now even though it has such a regal and ferocious name. I like to make dandelion capers with the tiny tight buds before they start to grow into flowers. And adding leaves to salads of course. And I have one or two plants I’ve been letting get big in the garden so I can harvest the roots for medicinal purposes. I did not however, know the French origin of the name. Makes perfect sense. Enjoy your visit with the boy.

yes, I think after all the back and forth of trying to remember is is a flowering quince bush.
      yeah, I need young folks…

Beautiful flowering quince and greens. Happy visit! Your kids are always your babies; my babies are 60 and 56. I still worry about them and I’m getting old enough that they are worrying about me- LOL.

no matter how old they are they are still our boy or girl. Mine is 37 and my girl is 35, yet they are still my babies. My son came over for dinner, he was saying to his son that I was his Mommy. So he called me Mommy for the evening. It was very nice. He is trying to teach the 4 year old that Poppy and Grammy are his parents.

Yay! A visit! The eclipse (what was visible from Chattanooga, TN) was wonderful … the “moment” passing so swiftly. Nice to have eclipse energy on Grow. Enjoy tomorrow!
