alignment in motion

when a thread might be the answer

From way back here...

Excuse the ding...path

Anyway, there seems so many ways to connect the dots... which is really finding some sense in chaos.

a hint of path

Thread beads to the rescue.

Things are not going as planned. I laugh out loud really.  Me, the planless straylooking for  what I expected.  I need a private quiet place to teach but WordPress has still been unable to solve the private page commenting issue.  Which is simply ridiculous in my opinion.  The problem seems browser specific.  I have several choices I suppose.  Ask eveyone in the Zone to use FireFox to comment.  Not worry about comments and use a Facebook group as a forum.  Make this blog private and use regular pages.  Move to SubStack and use private pages.  Give it up and  leave it all open and call it a day.  Be worry free. Go back to gardening.

a different path, the dots make it more like a movement, a way to go (or a way on the go, or a way away, so many ways of playing with words and images…)

“things are not going as planned…” ha! i can SO relate! (but often something even better comes as a result!) time will reveal the best path forward. just let it be…

Sometimes I yearn for the days before computers then I think of my online friends and how my life has been enriched by them. Today I yearn for forest bathing but the woods are too far away and too cold.

They flat out need to fix the issues with the webpages. I don’t know how you’re handling it with grace; I’d be ready to take a hammer to it by now.

I love this piece, Jude! The thread bead line connecting it all is really beautiful. Yes, it’s always a winding path. I admire all of you who can work through the technical issues . . . I’m glad that there are choices, hopefully one will provide that Worry Free space. We have heavy snow coming down today. The world has turned black & white again, will spend some time playing with colors indoors today!

Ptience will be a path I suppose, back to the just going that has served me so well. Snow expected here as well today. But it will not stay.

    • Wandering winding dots reminds of how my cat Lucy wanders about when she goes walking with us at twilight
being a cat she could not walk a straight line if one of her 9 lives depended upon it.

Its a happy day when you post words and pondering!
Wandering about the yard and garden is a refreshing habit when stymied
Not all who wander are lost…..

Thoughts of a recent presentation by a member of the local astronomy group on the April 8 total solar eclipse came immediately to mind. It will require a road trip to Erie to observe the totality. Perhaps you’re in a better location?

choices are good, they are always there if you nurture new eyes. The wind here is outrageous today. I wish it would lift me and toss me around, just for a while.

For the private pages substack could be a good option. There are so many moving parts on these pages. It’s not like you have some sort of outrageous set of requests for a functional online presence but….. sigh.
The blog part of it was always the most difficult segment of my website and had to be done separately. Integrating a website with a blog was the complicated part. Seems like many are moving to substack esp for the sponsored parts. As a user the experience has been good.
We had a night of high winds shifting us from 50 to 15 degrees. Everyone, even the cats, feel unsettled. The garden is too cold but the chickadees like the dried seeds on the flowers we left.

it is all so exhausting really, even the number of options.
I am happy I let all the dried flower heads, and how that works for the birds and bees.

This is one of my favorite stitchings of yours, Jude. I like the wavering stitch line so very much, an analogy (at least in my mind) of how things really go in this world…not always aligned, rigid…but rather flowing and natural. And that simple adjustment I find relaxing, and freeing.

  9. Frustrating! I used to work in technology, not online apps, but business apps. Technology can accomplish much, but it’s like untangling a knotted thread… 90% frustration, 10% elation (when it works!). Gardening sounds like a better alternative…

Without realizing, I am always striving for structure and balance, yet I am not a fan of structure/rigidness, Ha!
But I AM a big fan of taking one’s “troubles” to the garden.
(Too chilly for that today, so I think I’ll continue to ignore household chores by stitching, instead! Ha!!)
Hope you find a solution that pleases you!
I like your thread bead path…………………
