March

a golden beginning

Ding! Gold this morning, almost like the moon had melted into the day.  And it's March and the  great thing is, because I create a new folder for images and stuff each month, there is a new folder today with only a few things in it and it is a relief from the clutter I end up with. What a winter.

We are frozen this morning.  I feel like I am in there, looking out.   But it seems we are headed toward the warm now.  I keep saying that.

rings of holding

You might remember this one from back here... I stitched a few basket rings and drew a few more.

holding the holding

I had a couple of stray trees, and that seemed to double the holding, at least for the moment.  Perhaps the softening of a change of season.

There are really layers of holding here, and that satisfies some kind of yearning in me.  It makes a lot of things ok.  I know I have been a bit cryptic here,  but things will be ok and I am settled into Worry Free, spring is unfolding with bird song,  and I will find my way.

Just saying hi, and thanks for being here Jude … anywhere you take this I will happily follow. And thank you to everyone who posts. This is one of the few places online where I find intelligence, humour, inspiration, and the comfort of being with people of a similar age.

March? but it is still winter here — hopefully what comes in as a lion will go out like a lamb.
Folders are good, both virtual and physical. Organization.
    Your dye pot is waiting…

love the idea of creating a folder for each month, filled with images, words, cloth scraps… those thoughts that pop into my mind momentarily ‘n then flutter away… the way you layer possibilities takes me back to blissful childhood memories of flannel boards ‘n dress-up dolls…

Yeah the folder thing has really helped. Even helps me see how much happens in a short period of time.
Flannel Board is a good memory.

  4. As long as the layers wrap you, hold you – but doesn’t weigh you down. I speak cryptic, sending understanding of some sort (as much as I can anyway). I like your folder idea, to calm the never ending stream of photos!

I see a profile in your frozen cauldron, and everything is layers and I am feeling hopeful, unfurling from winter, filled with song!
