Snowing

ready

quiet, no wind.

sharpie on muslin. joodling on cloth.

7:30 AM and it will snow all day.  It's fine. It's February.  Reassuring actually. I've a bit of skitch skatch planned for the day.  And I need to feed the birds...

So beautiful. We have lost our snow all the way up here in Northern Vermont. I hope it finds us before winter ends. 49 degrees is not reassuring.☹️

Beautiful silence. I love how your landscape changes from one day to the next.
Enjoy sewing in the peaceful warmth.
    I see a new moon in the beastie’s mouth…

While I am not a fan of snow, albeit that I have witnessed 67 winters so far. The one thing about snow is the soft sounds it produces. May your skitchy skatch be happy today (and always!).

So much winter! The cyclamen here have fooled my brain into believing otherwise. In love with your beast and her inner moon already.

What a comfort to have plenty of wood, food for birds to watch and always cloth for a skitch skatch. The monster is fantastic!

      it is wonderfully quiet.
The beauty of a day’s hard work, I was thanking the trees for all the windfall yesterday, and my japanese handsaw…
I need the beast right now.

Huzzah for seasonally appropriate weather! We have 60 degree days forecasted for this week. So all the peach trees will start to bud leaving us hoping that we don’t have our winter in March, again. I’d happily take a snow day in February. Have you drawn the beast with a water soluble marker or just a regular pen? I’m not precise and always afraid my lines will show. I bet you’re all get covers up though huh.

  7. So pretty…especially with the wood pile inside. 🙂 There is a chance of snow mixed with rain on Thursday but not another “polar freeze” thank goodness! I am imagining this beast…
