art as dreaming

In my mind. Stuff just keeps rearranging itself.

I am not sure how useful that might be to anyone else.

But I love it.  And it is how it goes for me.

Nine For Peace seems to work it out with anything.Large Cloth holds more freedom for me.  Too big to be sold or offered as acceptable or fitting into any expectation or image.  And I don't care about gallery showings or anything like that.  It's the experience that fuels my art.  I can keep going, do whatever I want, never consider if it matters or makes sense or anything.  Like imagining this here. Cutting away the center of the original cloth, Spin, and wow, how exhilarating that might be.

reconsidering Haven, a small cloth from a while back. About safe and open at the same time.

I am still sorting through the unfinished and finding ways to let "then" touch the present.  Every day there is less and less to say. But that is becoming ok.

Maybe it's just that there is too much to say.  Maybe dreaming is taking over.  Which often leads to doing without saying.  The peace in that.

some old crazy stray self

PS, WordPress  is not reliably delivering my posts by email. So who knows?  Maybe it will not matter if I say or not. 🙃

I so enjoy how hearing and seeing how your mind designs! I do get your emails about the posts, but i also have your site bookmarked in google and pop in that way too.

Thanks! I love how tricky the mind can be if you let it free.
Not sure what is going on with the emails, just not consistent. Fiddling to see if I can fix it…

    Oh those eyes!
Larger cloth, bigger palate, more freedom.
It matters to us what you say.
DH and I used to jabber with each other constantly. After so many years together we have pretty much said all there is to be said. Now there is comfortable silence.

So bold & brilliant the navy! Love the pebble appliqué pieces in the bottom left corner. Cutting away the center wow, feeling the exhilaration in that! ✨
    And Soul-o’s bold look. 💖

  4. I like watching you rearrange things…no one right answer, so many perspectives to look at. 🙂 Nothing wrong with less words, sometimes that leaves more room to think.
