We’ll See

I can smell them still

I lifted this from the old blog, me in the leaves, 1956 or so... It was probably November.

the square spin I call the coma effect...

I stitched a new spin on that which I called Woven in Space.  Maybe to keep it afloat.

I have a problem with my eyes.  Some time away from screens.  And stitch.  We'll see...

Woven in space is gorgeous. Jude how (approx) large would this woven piece be?
Terrific how these lines create that buoyancy in space.!
The little girl in a pile of leaves….what fun! …. the little girls we used to be skip alongside even now.
Please just rest your eyes…so important to.

  2. The layered quality of your stitching and the warm disintegration of the woven patch are a lovely reiteration of the pile of leaves and the little girl playing in an autumn long past.

Rest your eyes. I find as I get older I cannot do screen or sewing marathons like I use to. Also need drops for dry eyes (they water; makes no sense to me)

On my screen, this photo under the photo on the top of the blog , both together, just perfect vision ! with the top of the roof )

Away from screen is probably easier then not stitching.
    I have the same problem.
    Be good to your eyes.
Beautiful fall days to you. Maybe take the same picture just “a few years” later…and a bigger pile
