Yesterday,
near sunset, the sunlight touched the porch in such a beautiful way.
Early this morning, I realized how useful these loose woven components might become.
The pics are a bit blurry. low light at dawn, but my thoughts are as clear as a bell. There are so many I can hardly hold them.
In this weave stitching experiment I also played with color shading a bit. I will have more to say about that.
Today is our anniversary (we celebrate every Friday the 13th). Dandelion pizza (my new favorite) is on the menu. With a dash of malibar spinach and mustard greens topped with a few nasturtiums.

Hello, and happy anniversary. I’ve just finished reading the complete story of the cloth we call Home. It’s what I’ve been doing the past few weeks instead of scrolling aimlessly on Instagram. It entertained me and held me a bit through a challenging time. For when I couldn’t sew but wanted to. I am off to sort fabric scraps and see what becomes of them. Ann Wood sent me. I just have one question: What… no garlic on your Friday the 13th pizza?! I used to bug my co-workers whenever Friday the 13th rolled around because I wore a ribbon necklace that had real garlic cloves danging from the ribbon…I grew up with such ideas.,.
i cook the greens with garlic, grew that too
