How one thing might touch another and become more…

Yesterday,

near sunset, the sunlight touched theย  porch in such a beautiful way.

Early this morning,ย  I realized how useful these loose woven components might become.

the weave adds depth

the two kinds of weave, I like them together.

The pics are a bit blurry. low light at dawn, but my thoughts are as clear as a bell. There are so many I can hardly hold them.

In this weave stitching experiment I also played with color shading a bit.ย  I will have more to say about that.

what grows here

Today is our anniversary (we celebrate every Friday the 13th).ย  Dandelion pizza (my new favorite)ย  is on the menu. With a dash of malibar spinach and mustard greens topped with a few nasturtiums.

Hello, and happy anniversary. Iโ€™ve just finished reading the complete story of the cloth we call Home. Itโ€™s what Iโ€™ve been doing the past few weeks instead of scrolling aimlessly on Instagram. It entertained me and held me a bit through a challenging time. For when I couldnโ€™t sew but wanted to. I am off to sort fabric scraps and see what becomes of them. Ann Wood sent me. I donโ€™t comment often but wanted to let you know that I am here.

Happy Anniversary! The pizza sounds interesting, have never tried dandelion but I do like rocket on pizza with it’s lovely peppery flavour…enjoy!

A very Happy Anniversary to you both.
    Those colours look … edible!
I just phoned my older, younger brother to wish him a Happy Friday 13th 70th Birthday! He’s still a child in my eyes.

A fine way to enjoy your special day, your Anniversary with what you both have grown on your land…Happy Anniversary and may you and the Man enjoy more trips down the garden/together road…

I just have one question: What… no garlic on your Friday the 13th pizza?! I used to bug my co-workers whenever Friday the 13th rolled around because I wore a ribbon necklace that had real garlic cloves danging from the ribbon…I grew up with such ideas.,.

“There are so many I can hardly hold them.”

There’s an invisible woven bowl for that dilemma. ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿงน๐Ÿ‚๐Ÿซถ

Happy Anniversary to you and The Man! How often does Friday the 13th pop up? Very cool way to celebrate, too. Your pictures are lovely and thoughtful/feeling-provoking, just like your work…
