What if we are just always Working Through It?

Being Puzzled, I mean...

(Glad for puzzle pieces)

Nine is just enough pieces for me.  Not too many, but enough to build with.

four moments in time

Working with a concept here, maybe a question...

Which came first The Moonflower or the not Moonflower ?   Lost in the Magic of becoming  and unbecoming I suppose,  mostly a matter of perspective.  I love what these open up for me.  And that there is no words for it.

It's Wednesday.  It's not raining. It's early. It's getting lighter.  45 degrees!  Season is taking hold.

I should really try growing pumpkins here, if even just for the critters.

Love the randomness of the upper right 9 patch; the full moon & the new moon! Wonderful imagery for a moon lover.
Your bench “vignette” is so peaceful! I love watching birds.
Enjoyed everyone’s responses today. Look forward to reading here eaves day! 😘

I like the chaos too, a relief somehow within the confines of a nine patch.

something about a pumpkin, with anything, makes a beautiful picture.

To be puzzled, is to ask Questions…..and we must always ask questions till the end of our days!
Too soon to get a pumpkin here, they rot so quickly 😞
We had a teeny bit of rain last night!
    Hopefully more today!
    Working on a new piece😊

Even when we are not looking … the seasons teach us … dancing or walking the sacred wheel of the year … gifts of revelation come.

The dance between posted words, images and readers is soul food!🙂

  3. I bought a Moonflower set from threadcrumbs and stitched it together. It felt like magic, I love it. The four pieces you show remind me of elemental forces, atoms dancing, gravitational pull.

The functionality as well as the “magic” of seasons. How each brings forth dearly loved rituals and traditions and how there is comfort in this as well as the anticipation that even though there is familiarity, anticipatory magic is always around the corner, especially if the corner is near an old apple tree!

Every autumn I dye cloth with windfall, leaves, compost, whatever I find, knowing that while I pretty much will get the same color results as in previous seasons, the anticipation of the alchemy of windfall, copper pot and cloth for me, is always a refreshing magic. This season of pumpkins and pomegranates is a case in point. I have dyed with pomegranates before and depending on the “cauldron” used, the colors range from gold to purple to black…still that quiver of excitement comes as pom skins dance in the heat inside a copper pot, a large piece of old white cotton sheet turning golden ..so fitting for the time of harvest moon and gathering. The pom cloth is dried and before I tore it into usable strips, I draped it around my neck, holding out the ends, stepped outside in the dark of this morning and danced around the apple tree in homage of many things but especially to signify my favorite season…if any neighbors happened to look out their window, I’m sure they felt as if “something wicked this way comes”HA! Maybe I should have a sign made that says, “Dancing Bruja lives here!” ( Bruja is the Spanish word for witch.)

Season helps us accept change, each like a slow moving storm, such a great reminder of the link between expected and unexpected. I sense we are all dancing witches when no one is looking, even when we ourselves are not looking.

      LOVE this!!
I, too, have danced and wondered if the neighbors saw….(I hope not; once I was naked, but it was dark!) Hah!

Marti, Wonderful imagery in your beautiful prose! I see & sense the colors & smells in your copper pot. Felt the joy of dancing round the apple tree in gratitude.
I’m secretly a Bruja in my neighborhood, but I suspect my neighbors know it! 🤣

Lucky you! It will be another day in the mid 90s here. I wish the heat was un-becoming. It seems to always be coming. Love your Pumpkin, Jude.
