Good Morning.
It's a beautiful day. Willie Nillie (Willie for short), is a bit pissed that I took the feeder down. And there are no tomatoes for him to steal yet. But I have a handful of peanuts here and I will go meet him out back.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
I will be back in a few days to continue. To reconsider all that happened during Considering Weave. There is a category for Reconsidering Weave here. At the bottom of the posts. Or as always, you can use the search bar . It is working fairly well at this point. This is an old piece and I am just looking through it at the moment. Feeling it again.
As a note, I think shop updates will be returning to a Moon schedule. I like that better. So maybe next Saturday.
willy is hilarious! where I lived in va, a neighbor complained about walking in on a squirrel in her kitchen. we couldn’t figure out how they managed to make it up to the ledge (no tree nearby) make a hole in her screen and come in and try to take a tomato. when she walked it on it fled through the window. a few weeks later we watched probably the same squirrel attempt the same stunt again. we scared it off that time.
lately I’ve been putting out fruit that has gone bad that either the squirrels or crows have gotten.
A squirrel?! It looks like a snake!
hilarious, “Somebody’s watching you” have a good weekend
Without my glasses, Willy startled me! That weaving is a whole world.
yeah, me too I thought wtf?
weaving is my world I realize, everything I do seems that now.
Here is a a Saturday Song for you and Willie!!
Little Willy, By Sweet
Lyrics
… North side, east side
Little Willy, Willy wears the crown, he’s the king around town
Dancing, glancing
Willy drives them silly with his star shoe shimmy shuffle down
… Way past one, and feeling alright
‘Cause with little Willy round they can last all night
Hey down, stay down, stay down down
‘Cause little Willy, Willy won’t go home
… But you can’t push Willy ’round
Willy won’t go, try tellin’ everybody but, oh no
Little Willy, Willy won’t go home
… Up town, down town
Little Willy, Willy drives them wild with his run-around style
Inside, outside
Willy sends them silly with his star-shine shimmy shuffle smile
… Mama done chase Willy down through the hall
But laugh, Willy laugh, he don’t care at all
… Hey down, stay down, stay down, down
‘Cause little Willy, Willy won’t go home
But you can’t push Willy ’round
Willy won’t go, try tellin’ everybody but, oh no
Little Willy, Willy won’t go home
… Little Willy, Willy won’t
Willy won’t, Willy won’t
… Little Willy, Willy won’t
Willy won’t, Willy won’t
… Little Willy, Willy won’t
Willy won’t, Willy won’t
… Little Willy, Willy won’t
Willy won’t, Willy won’t
… Little Willy, Willy won’t go home
But you can’t push Willy round
Willy won’t go, try tellin’ everybody but, oh no
… Little Willy, Willy won’t go home
Little Willy, Willy won’t go home
But you can’t push Willy round
Willy won’t go, try tellin’ everybody but, oh no
Little Willy, Willy won’t go home

hilariously perfect!
thot mr. nilly was a knobby tree branch at first. whatta character! love seeing light pass thru thin cloth. perhaps i’ll create a window hanging this weekend. weave a bit of super gauzy cloth from my thread nest ‘n mend it with bits of colored glass. all hung from a branch. I’d call it “mr. nilly’s wild ride”. ha!… enjoy!
I had to look twice. He is so friendly. Stayed right there while I made coffee
Weaving 💙 still want to try some small weaving again.
yes, do!
Have a lovely weekend!
Ohhh…you have once again got me thinking about what is “finished”? And related ponderings.
An endless question…
Soft, sunny, early summer days … weaving themselves into our lives. Wonderful weekend to you and yours!
Oh my gosh! Hilarious. How did he get up there?!
**You’re very kind to him.
Jumps on the roof from a close by tree.
What IS he??? He looks like a dinosaur peeking in the upper window…
I love that weaving. I like its disorderly order…it’s how my Gardens are described. Pleasant weekend to you, Jude!
That was my initial thought. Very dinosaurish looking.
the squirrels here are HUGE
Omg!
Willy Nilly really got me!!:):)
