the Grounding

blanket on blanket

Yesterday.

It still smells like leaves.

I do this, seasonally, the Open Air Ritual,  until a cloth is done and given away. Or forever if it stays with me.

Alphabet Soup.  Very much at home in Autumn.  I think she may see some snow before she goes.

There are emails, I am a bit under the weather .  Thank you for your patience...

I hope whatever the ailment is passes soon! The blanket does, as others note, look so at home outside. I have a big yew bush I like to put cloth on to air out.

how the cloth rests so peacefully upon the land… picturing you being deeply refreshed today, curled up with soul-o ‘n a bowl of soup…

  3. Aw, feel better. She does look very nice there…the colors are all made for each other, it seems. Have you told us how big this one is? Can’t remember, just curious.

Be well. This is one of the most beautiful photos I think I’ve ever seen. One cover covering another … such a joyous blend of colors. As Trish said, may the energy of the earth heal you … rest on this quilt on the earth. Thank you so much for this morning greeting.

So much work. And now A.S. is resting near the trees and on their leaves. The trees will look at it for a long time and take it in..
And now you should rest a while and you’ll feel better soon.
    Best wishes.

I so love this ritual you have.
I can get happily lost in the red dotted underlines.
Patience…a personal practice for so many years.
Hope you feel well soon. 💛🍂🍁
