I is for In Between

I often considered it some kind of nowhere between this and that. Maybe even struggled toward this and regretted that.
Now as I have become older, I have realized that it is simply the moment and there is no this and that. We are always in between.
Some use the word liminal. I don’t like fancy words, in between works for me.
Liminal space?…a transitional or transformative period between two destinations… but for me there is no there there, except the in-between.
