I am inspired by cloth, it is my teacher Especially woven cloth. Inspired by how it is made. The nature of it's structure. What it is/was used for. Where it has been.  How it endures. So  my work is very influenced by what I know about a piece of cloth and what I can learn from it.  I am collecting the stories to share with you so you might better understand my relationship with it. And why I feel sewing is in a way so close to weaving.
