If it ain’t one thing…

And so, the snow melted and the day seemed promising.

Morning has broken...

Michell was here

I went outside to  dump the compost.

Tree Pollen has begun. Sitting here unable to breathe.  At least I have found inspiration...

sneezing

I might be down for a bit...can't focus when these allergies kick in.  Warmer tomorrow. High dry winds. And there is actually a wildfire warning in effect.   This place should be a weather museum.

Also the e on my keyboard is not working well.  Hope I can fix that.  As grace used to say, eeeeee.  If you find any missing I must have missed them.

At the tail end of COVID, I had to travel by plane just as spring hit in SE Michigan. I had a dry cough that I could not shake, so I wore a mask. I nearly burst into tears from the frustration of the cough that cough drops and sips of water wouldn’t clear, and people literally turning in their seats to see who the culprit was – thankfully it was relatively short flight. I’ve learned to take allergy pills with a decongestant at the first signs of spring allergies. The pollen just wipes me out. I hope yours clears with the rain!

I’m not a fan of medication, probably because I’ve never really needed it, but now I’m getting older…weakening immune system.

    Uggghh….allergies are so draining.
Wildfire warning….what the hell? Weather is like a roller coaster this winter!
We became grandparents on Wednesday…eeeeeee 🥰
We have a granddaughter 🌞 We haven’t seen her yet. It was a difficult birth for her mama, so we are keeping away until she feels stronger.
Your weavings are beautiful. Is the gorgeous blanket draped over the back of the chair your work too?
Wishing you clear air passages 🫂

      Knocked me right over.
The wind died down this morning so I think it’s ok.
Congratulations!!! How wonderful. I feel your joy.
Yes, it is actually a huge scarf. I plan to do some felting on it.

    Crumbs!
My stuck keys are usually crumbs. I turn my laptop upside down and gently shake it, or blow on it. Failing that my son has a can of compressed air that un-crumbs it.
I don’t know whether my tight chest is Spring allergies, or kindly shared grandchildren germs.
    Whether the weather be fine.
Or whether the weather be not.
We’ll weather the weather, whatever the weather
Whether we like it or not.
A glance at the natural beauty of your home has eased my breathing for now.

Yes, I’m sure it’s something like that. I’ll get at it.
Grandchildren germs have been wildly inconvenient this year…
The roof of my mouth is itchy, that’s usually pollen.

I’m in love with the weavings.
We had an awesome thunder and lightening show tonite that brought rain to wash away the oak tree pollen on the driveway. Hope it helps the allergies for a day or two.

I feel your pain on the allergies 🤧 I take over the counter non-drowsy allergy pills that help… pine and oak trees are huge pollen makers here!
Hope you feel better soon Judeeeeeeeeeeee

  6. Jude~ Oh…Hi Michelle! Looking beautiful on that weaving 🙂 Here it is allergy season all year! It is ridiculous! We may get rain and there are huge thunderheads coming over the mountains to the north. They look awesome.

  7. Pollen high here too. Had to stop several times to catch my breath in the arboretum this morning, while admiring and cursing beautiful spring. Thought it was done for the season, oh well. Take care.

up here today it wasn’t allergies, but big warm wind and barometric pressure. no sneezing, but clogged plumbing headache.
