Slower than stitch.
But Forever comes and goes. Despite rain, above freezing temperatures, the snow here shrinks like a glacier. Nothing seems to change. But I see color through the foggy dampness. Look at that lichen. And the old goldenrod stalks. Big warm up this week will bring more visible change.
Michelle's crystal is my suncatcher.
Love brings growth. Trying to remember that...what a world.
I see cat hair.
I've not much to say lately. Or I don't know how.

Those lichens. Gorgeous. We have a lot in our little wooded area, it being Oregon, but nothing that has a chance to get as big as some of those patches. I love the silvery green the lichens and the Norwegian reindeer r mosses get.
I love the look of them. Patchwork
Seeing a bit of the world through your eyes feels uplifting. Thank you for all you share.
There is always beauty.
Words fail me a lot these days… but screaming is helpful. Big fog and ice here this morning.
Ha, really…
Stillness is absolutely an illusion if I understand the atomic nature of matter. Everything is always moving, right?
Yes, a liquid puzzle…

May we hold together, even when quiet. It is beautiful over there. 💕
We might be like a quilt.
I simply enjoy seeing the photos.
❤️
Love all your photos today! I especially like the one of your home…all those windows on the world!
It’s cozy here today. The snow is almost warming.
Back in HS, my first dye experiments were with lichen. The woods surrounding us were filled with it and library books(remember those?) promised color!
And here I am, in a completely different season of my life, dyeing again.
I’m dreaming of your coming spring!
The lichen here is nuts!!! And I’ve never really dyed with it. I’m ready!
Love the pics of your land. Your home is gorgeous. Very Jude.
Strange how I landed here.
I don’t know how to talk about things these days either. How talk about X when Y is going on over there?
Trying to stand back and take in a bigger picture.
As in: the rise and fall of empires? Or, as in: late winter always feels drab, remember summer is ahead.
All of it. Maybe empires are like seasons?
That’s a useful construct.
Yeah, considering that…
Love brings growth. I see cat and dog hair.
1,700 miles and I’m back home again in Indiana, for good. Rain, rain and more rain. My 2 grown boys standing before me. It’s good to be home.
Home is where the heart is.
Oh, I love that lichen green…just ordered some hand dyed black and over-dyed green wools for a Garden poppet I will make. Just buried the linen in my Garden soil, awaiting the returning rains…
Love your stitched piece, those greens! Beautiful, Jude.
If the ground ever thaws, I’ll dig up some cloth bundles I buried last fall.
Cool. Earth shadows!
It is the same here in the corner of northwestern lower Michigan. Warming temps in the 50s and rain and still tons of snow and as this snow slowly melts we have mud up to our knees.
I have boots for that!!!
Glad it’s warning up! Quietly stitching 😶
💙✌🏼
yeah, I need a break
