Being

Getting Cold

Be Like A Star

Be Like A Star.  Just considering  being (like) a  star.  The Wishing Star.  Allowing someone's wishes, dreams to come true.  It's possible, but never easy.

The polar Vortex has crept close.  It's cold today  but not as cold as it will get.  feels like February.

used to see deer in the yard- perhaps 10 to 15 years ago….but not anymore- I think there is more car traffic these days. More housing development out behind my property. I miss the turkey and little hens also….. I don’t miss the wild ducks– and the eagles swooping down to carry them off- screaming.

Saw seven deer and many turkeys on our drive. Weather is cool, foggy and gray. Wishing on your star for sunshine. I cannot change the big sad world but my little world is happy.

Had a coyote walking down my alley this morning .. not something we normally see living in the city but with the light snow falling and everything covered in white it really was beautiful. Stay warm Jude and know that you are loved.

love the soft, frayed, fur-like edges of this joy-filled beast… may be it’s our own “frayed edges” as we age that give us our softness. like a tattered quilt that gives comfort because of the memories it holds… x

Sun is shining but the temp is only 5 degrees. Snowed all day yesterday.
We had a mountain lion two blocks up a couple days ago. I think they come into town after the deer.

Was just looking out the window. Almost the exact same view here. Such a nice feel to this cloth. To be part of a larger constellation.

Wishing Stars keep us moving toward new goals. I love your scraps in this one!
Polar vortex is being felt where i am currently in Florida too, I prefer a chill in the air over hot and humid.
